This small office space is designed keeping in mind that the area has to be utilized more for meetings and conferences with some space for staff and for pantry.
The space is quite small and it is in a very odd shape with sharp corners. Since it is a small space, the conference area and the owner’s desk area is combined. The conference area is also styled in a very casual way with a double seater sofa, loose chairs and a bench.
The unique coffee table sourced from an antique store in Mumbai, which was re-polished and made on site along with other furniture. Office owner’s desk is a one piece live-edged wooden log with metal legs. The storage is given in one side with the printer area. The finish on the storage in the entire office is a concrete looking Formica.
The main wall of the office is also treated with a unique texture – it’s a rust texture which has oxidized effect. This rustic texture complements the panelling on the wall inside the cabin. It’s a cane and wooden panelling having a very rustic, earthy and warm feel to it. In the washroom, black and white tiles on floor and a concrete finish tile on walls gives a feeling of freshness.
