Indigo, which is Mumbai’s casual dining experience, has now reached NCR’s most vibrant dining destination, nestled in the heart of Gurgaon’s international business district. The restaurant works with nouvelle cuisine, stressing light cooking that preserves the identity of unusual and carefully selected ingredients in an understated, serene yet stylish setting that engages all the senses.
The space, spread over 3,000sq ft, has been zoned seamlessly into the bar, gourmet retail, Deli, dining spaces with the show kitchen as an interactive focal point. Regular live performances will be curated to create an effervescent atmosphere for suburban professionals to unwind. There are approximately 85 covers within and another 20 spilling out to the lively al fresco. Indigo’s signature palette of natural materials are
timber, copper and terrazzo, with a finely crafted bespoke ceiling feature that evokes the rhythm of waves.
It is an element that wraps around the heart of the restaurant and provides a cocoon-like embrace over the bar and accents the space’s warm lighting and inviting ambience. The bar counter reflects light on the facets of its jewel-like metallic skin. The precision of geometry has always been a consistent feature of their restaurants and this theme is re-interpreted in myriad ways to give each Indigo a special character and a sense of place.
The furniture, inspired by mid-century designs, complements their informal yet trendsetting character and helps create an alluring environment that is familiar and comforting.
